Privacy

This is a short, plain description of what PriceShift collects. It is deliberately not a legal template, and it does not pretend to cover things it does not do.

What we collect

• Email addresses you submit to the alert form. Used to send the alerts you asked for, and nothing else.
• Nothing about the vendors' customers. We hold no account data, no billing data, and no user records of any kind. This is not a product that has users; it is a dataset and a mailing list.

What we do not do

• No third-party analytics scripts.
• No advertising cookies set by us. Advertising is served by Google AdSense, and Google's own policies govern what it does with them.
• No selling or sharing of email addresses.
• No advertising profile built from the alert form.

Cookies

Two first-party values are stored in your browser: a dark-mode preference, and nothing else. There is no tracking cookie set by this site. AdSense may set its own cookies, which are described in Google's advertising policies.

Email alerts

Alert emails contain an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing sets a timestamp on our record and stops delivery permanently. We keep the address itself so the unsubscribe state persists, and we do not use addresses for anything other than the alerts they were given for.

Retention

Alert subscriptions are kept until unsubscribed. Change records and pricing snapshots are kept indefinitely, because the historical series is the product and removing it would degrade the public dataset.

Your rights

To see what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email us. Deleting a subscription removes the address entirely; there is no derived data that outlives it.
