A public record of what changed in the product itself. Corrections to data are logged here too, because a correction that is not visible is not a correction.
Extraction confidence surfaced on vendor pages
Vendor pages now show which extraction strategy produced their data and a confidence rating, so a low-confidence record is visible as such rather than presented with the same authority as a JSON-LD-backed one.
Terminology and limit-change detection
Added detection for terms of service changes, seat minimum increases, and limit reductions of more than 50%, which are now classed as major rather than minor.
Annual pricing no longer reported as a large increase
Prices billed annually are now normalised to a monthly basis before comparison. Previously a move to annual billing could surface as a several-hundred-percent increase.
Failed extractions no longer publish as deletions
A crawl returning fewer than two plans is now recorded as a failed run and retried with backoff, instead of being treated as a vendor removing all plans. This was the most serious source of false reports.
Full snapshot history and plan timelines
Every crawl is retained, so vendor pages show the whole trajectory rather than only the most recent change.
Public launch
18 vendors under continuous tracking, with a public change feed, per-vendor histories, RSS and a JSON API.
Data corrections. Corrections to recorded pricing appear in the change feed with correction and link to the affected entry. Nothing published on this site is edited in place without a visible note.
